The Summit Historical Society plans to build a garage to house the Chemical Engine next to Summit's oldest home, the Carter House on Butler Parkway. The project will also include restoration of the fire engine. The Historical Society estimates it will need $75,000. to complete the project. All donations are tax deductible.

Attend our fundraiser, the Red Engine Social on October 20, 2012 at the Fortnightly Club's historic Twin Maples. The event is jointly sponsored by the Summit Historical Society and The Fortnightly Club and all proceeds will benefit the Chemical Engine project.
